【October 31st】Koto & Shakuhachi Live

On Saturday, October 31, 2026, Mercure Kyoto Station will host a live performance featuring two traditional Japanese instruments, the koto and shakuhachi, at the Social Lounge on the B1 floor.

Our first Koto Live, held in August 2026, welcomed many guests, not only staying at the hotel but also local residents and visitors staying at other hotels in Kyoto.

Following the warm response to the first event, this second edition will feature the shakuhachi alongside the koto, bringing together the distinctive sounds of these two traditional Japanese instruments.

The event is open to both hotel guests and visitors who are not staying at the hotel. Before or after sightseeing or dinner, take a moment to enjoy the sounds of traditional Japanese instruments and experience the atmosphere of an autumn evening in Kyoto.
