The main dish for August features premium beef tenderloin—rare and prized for its delicate taste. The lean, mild-flavored meat is elevated by a rich, flavorful sauce in this luxurious entrée.

The course also includes a Kyoto summer classic—hamo (pike conger)—served two ways: as a light, crispy fritter and as fragrant aburi (seared) slices. You’ll also enjoy a seafood tomato soup rich in umami, and a creamy pasta made with slowly simmered domestic chicken and Kyoto’s signature Kujo green onions.

For dessert, savor a reimagined rare cheesecake presented in a delicate mousse-like form, paired with fig compote and finished with a cup of coffee—perfect for winding down and reflecting on your day.
