Our Commitment to Sustainability｜About Green Key

At our hotel, we are committed to environmental responsibility and building a sustainable society. As part of this commitment, we are working toward obtaining the internationally recognized environmental certification, Green Key.
This page introduces our sustainability initiatives and provides an overview of the Green Key program.

What is Green Key?

Green Key is a prestigious international eco-label awarded to hotels and tourism establishments that demonstrate excellence in sustainable and environmentally responsible operations.
Currently, over 4,000 establishments across more than 70 countries have been certified. The certification is based on a wide range of criteria, including energy and water efficiency, waste management, environmental education, and community involvement.

Our Environmental Initiatives (Highlights)

We implement the following initiatives in our daily operations:

In Guest Rooms and Facilities

  • All guest room lighting has been replaced with LED fixtures

  • Water-saving shower heads and toilets have been installed

  • Reduced use of single-use amenities; reusable alternatives introduced

  • Guests are given the option to choose cleaning frequency and towel replacements

 

In Our Restaurants and Beverage Services

  • Preference given to locally sourced ingredients

  • Measures to reduce food waste at buffets (portion control and takeaway options)

  • Reduced use of bottled water; water refill stations and reusable bottles encouraged

Waste Management and Recycling

  • Thorough waste separation throughout the facility (up to 4 categories)

  • Recycling of used cooking oil and cardboard

  • Food waste is measured and efforts are made to reuse it where possible

Engagement with Staff and Local Community

  • Regular environmental training for staff

  • Participation in local cleanup efforts and eco-events

  • In-house events held during Environmental Awareness Month and other key dates

 

Your Role in Our Sustainability Efforts

Our sustainability initiatives are made possible with the cooperation of our valued guests. We kindly ask for your support during your stay:

  • Reuse towels and linens when possible to reduce water and energy use

  • Use water refill stations and bring your own reusable bottle

  • Order only what you can eat and take only what you need at buffets
