Mercure Kyoto Station is pleased to introduce the limited “Sakura × Washi” Concept Room, available from March 1, 2026, with only two rooms offered per day.

Inspired by the seasonal beauty of Kyoto, this concept room blends softly drifting cherry blossom motifs with traditional Yuzen washi craftsmanship. Designed to evoke the elegance of Kyoto throughout the year, the space allows guests to experience the city’s refined aesthetic regardless of season or weather.

Matcha Sweets & Tea from Gion Tsujiri

Original Washi Items
Custom tea canisters and decorative chiyogami paper made with Yuzen washi are provided as keepsakes, allowing guests to take a piece of Kyoto home with them.
